Founded by Billy Summs, Donation Remarketing Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlantic Asset Management Group, Inc. In the late ’80s, Billy helped the American Cancer Society establish a new motor donor program called “Cars for Cures,” turning donated vehicles into cash. Since that time, he has coordinated programs for virtually all national charitable organizations first as an auctioneer, then as a trainer meeting with volunteers to help them extend their reach, and finally as a consultant meeting with boards to show them the wisdom of an organized asset donation program.
In 2002, Billy decided to take the skills he developed for such clients as the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross and March of Dimes and create Donation Remarketing Group, a new subsidiary dedicated solely to the development of asset donation programs for 501(c)3 organizations. Today, Donation Remarketing Group specializes in the unique needs of local, regional and national 501(c)3 clients, helping them establish motor donor programs to capture a previously untapped source of revenue.
